Cala San Vicente - A peaceful and relaxing resort
Cala San Vicente is a relaxing resort on the North coast of Majorca. The resort is very popular amongst families and couples looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday together. It is a lovely resort to take in all of your surroundings, with beautiful beaches and lovely sights to see. There are a few hotels in Cala San Vicente, which vary in their star ratings, with many ranging from 1-3-star, with a few luxury 4-5-star hotels. The three beaches in Cala San Vicente are quiet and relaxing, offering white sands and crystal clear waters. The water on the beaches is shallow making it safe for children to use. Flights to Palma take approximately 2.5 hours.
Cala San Vicente – peaceful resort with peaceful activities
Cala San Vicente is so relaxed, there aren't actually many activities to keep you entertained. During the day the main thing to do is lay on the beach, go in the sea, or go on relaxing walks around the resort. There are prehistoric caves further inland and trips to neighbouring resorts will show you the livelier side to Majorca. The famous Inca Market that is held in many of the resorts is held every Thursday in Cala San Vicente and is well worth a visit. Taking in the views is popular as you are surrounded by mountains and hills covered in woodland.
Cala San Vicente – brilliant location away from the crowds
Cala San Vicente is a very peaceful resort and offers a few shops, restaurants and bars. There is food for everyone, although you may not find a wide variety of cuisine. The nightlife is very quiet, with many people travelling to nearby Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa for a lively evening. Much of the entertainment in Cala San Vicente takes place in the hotels and is put on for families and couples. There are daily buses taking you into Palma, Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa where you can experience more shops and a lively nightlife. The shops in Cala San Vicente offer souvenirs mainly, which is why many people choose to visit neighbouring resorts as there you can find clothing, jewellery and electrical goods.
Cala San Vicente – sunshine and clear blue skies
Cala San Vicente is a resort that has good weather for most of the year. The winters remain mild, and the summer temperatures rarely fall below 25°C. The water temperature in the summer is around 26°C making it perfect for those of you wanting to go for a swim, and even in the winter, water temperatures still remain fairly high. July and August offer the best weather, but the whole summer season is from April until November. October however does bring the most rain to the resort, closely followed by November and December.
