Camp de Mar Resort Guide
Camp de Mar - Located on the South West coast of Majorca
Camp de Mar is a small resort that is perfect for young families and couples. The resort transfer will take around 45 minutes so you can take in your surroundings as you travel. The beach in Camp de Mar is very appealing, with golden sands and clear blue waters. The water is clean and safe, making it perfect for children to go swimming in. There is plenty for you to see and do within the resort and if you are looking for a livelier time then you can visit the nearby, lively resorts. There are a few hotels around the resort and you will find that the majority of them are 4-star hotels.
Camp de Mar – perfect base to visit lively neighbours
Camp de Mar is home to quite a few activities. There are many beach activities such as water sports which include windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling. You could also take part in a glass bottom boat trip or take a ride on a pedallo. Cliff top walks are very popular with people as you can see some amazing views of the resort. Golf is very popular and you will find championship golf courses nearby should you decide to give it a go. There are plenty of excursions for you to take part in such as visiting a park where you will find sharks, dolphins and reptiles, or visiting Palma and its Gothic Cathedral.
Camp de Mar – plenty to see and so both here and in other resorts
Camp de Mar \'s nightlife is mostly restricted to hotels. Here, you will find a lot of family entertainment so children will be very happy. There are a few restaurants offering various cuisines, including Mediterranean, English, French and Italian. There is some public transport, with buses taking you to Paguera and Palma. The neighbouring resorts such as Paguera offer a lively nightlife which is definitely worth a visit. A trip to Magaluf is also recommended should you want a livelier evening. There are a few shops available such as souvenir shops, but the nearby resort of Palma offers more shops including clothing and jewellery.
Camp de Mar – lovely summer weather
Camp de Mar has very hot weather, especially during July and August. All the way between May and October is sunshine and its only from November to April that you may need a jacket in the evenings. It is also more likely to rain in the winter months so you may wish to wrap up warm. However, there is always sunshine at some stage during the day, and this is normally very warm.
