Majorca is one island that appeals to everyone. Not only the largest of all the Balearic Islands, Majorca truly has something to offer everyone. The capital, Palma is very well known and attracts everyone from young groups, to couples, to families. Young people travel to Majorca for the nightlife in some resorts, which has become very popular over the years. Majorca's most popular resorts are Palma, Magaluf, Cala Dor, Puerto Cristo and Puerto Pollensa. Holidays in Majorca aren't just geared towards young people, however. Many mature couples and retired people go into the centre of Majorca where you can experience the culture, lifestyle and history of the island. Majorca is a very large island with 250 miles of coastline. The island is perfect for beach lovers looking for a place to relax in the sunshine. Being based in the Mediterranean Sea means that there are beautiful clear waters as well as white sands for you to enjoy. The island is may be busy and full of tourist facilities, but there is also a lot of scenery for people to look at, such as cliffs, valleys, pine woodlands and olive trees. Flights to Palma take approximately 2.5 hours.

Majorca offers so much for people of all ages. Along many of the beaches, you will find many water sports. Cycling is also very popular around the countryside of Majorca as it gives you the perfect opportunity to see the island. Golfing is popular as Majorca is well-known as a golfing destination. The courses are popular but can be crowded so it is important to get there early if you are going to try it.

Majorca offers so much to everyone including hot air balloon flights. You can view the entire island either in the morning or at night and it is definitely one of the most popular things to do. There are plenty of shops selling everything that you could possibly imagine including clothes, sportswear, leather goods, souvenirs, food and electrical goods. There are plenty of beaches for you to choose from, with beach side bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The restaurants offer all types of cuisine including Chinese, English, Spanish and Italian, as well as many others. There are various bars offering top British DJs, live music acts and karaoke to keep you entertained throughout the evening.
Majorca – beautiful weather all year round
The weather in Majorca is very comfortable, rarely going above 30°C in the Summer and having hardly any rain. For sun worshippers, it is the perfect destination. The weather in winter is slightly colder, however, the temperature rarely drops below 10°C. Water temperatures remain high, making water sports perfect. The water temperatures range between 18°C and and 26°C so it is very comfortable for those taking part in water sports. Between September and November it is likely to rain and be colder so if you were visiting at this time then warmer clothing would be advised.
