Paguera Resort Guide

Paguera - Becoming increasingly popular

Paguera is becoming more and more popular amongst European tourists. With many 4* and 5* hotels in Paguera, it is considered fairly upmarket. Located on the south west coast of Majorca means it is very close to Magaluf so if you were looking for a very lively night out then you could visit there and then go back to Paguera. There are three beaches available, all with white sands, warm waters and plenty of sunshine.

Paguera - perfect for water sports and hiking

There is plenty to see and so within the resort. This includes both water and land activities such as hiking, diving, windsurfing, cycling and jet-skiing. Again, there are golf courses available for you to try and you can take a walk around the resort and look at some of the picturesque scenary. A popular activity is the glass bottom boat.

Paguera - pleny of places to eat and drink

There are many bars and restaurants in the resort offering cheap food and drink. There are various different cuisines available and many different bars including karaoke, cocktail and dance bars. There are many bars and cafes behind the beach so you can hav a few drinks whilst lookin out at the sand and water. There are still some residential areas as the resort used to be a small fishing village and you can walk up to the hills to see this. Unfortunately it is not the ideal location for people in wheelchairs or pushchairs and the lansdcape is very hilly. The resort has become more popular in recent years as there is a lot to do both day and night. It is easy to get to Magaluf but many people prefer to stay in a neighbouring resort as it is quieter and Paguera is perfect for this. There are many different restaurants available offering something for everyone and all food is reasonably priced. The shops available sell anything and everything so it is a good idea to visit and pick up a few bargains.

Paguera - very Mediterranean climate

The weather is very Mediterranean with temperatures around 26°C on average during the summer. In the winter it is the same as most resorts with temperatures of around 10°C. The rain falls in October and November, so it is better to go in July and August as they are the hottest months of the year. Air conditioning is advisable as it does get very hot during the day and night furing the summer. Water temperatures increase and become very warm by May making it perfect for water sports.
