Cala'n Bosch - Located On The South Western Tip Of Menorca

Cala\'n Bosch is a resort that attracts older couples and families that are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The transfer time from the airport to this resort is around 50 minutes to an hour. This gives you plenty of time to look around at the scenery that Menorca offers as well as gaining an understanding of the location of the resort and the location of your accommodation within the resort. The beach in Cala\'n Bosch is very attractive, with fine, pale sands leading down to the clear waters. The accommodation on offer mainly consists of apartments that are around 3-4-stars although there are also some hotels on offer. These are also mainly 3-4-star hotels.



Cala'n Bosch - Plenty Of Beach Based Activities To Keep You Occupied

Cala\'n Bosch has a range of activities for you to choose from during the day. There are plenty of water sports available to you such as windsurfing, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, parasailing, jet-skiing and water-skiing. Canoeing, parascending and sailing school are also options to you. There is also the opportunity to rent out boats during the day which is a popular activity among both tourists and locals. Swimming is also a popular choice. There are also boat trips that you can go on that will take you to various beaches and distant coves to enjoy the sunshine at quiet atmosphere. If you head to Ciudadela then you will find many more activities and you may be able to take some of the excursions made available to you.



Cala'n Bosch - A Choice Of Places To Eat And Drink

Cala\'n Bosch is home to plenty of restaurants that offer a range of cuisines. These include Spanish, British, Italian and a lot of seafood. There are also a number of fast food outlets for you to choose from as well as a few cafés. The nightlife in Cala\'n Bosch is mild with a few lively bars and karaoke. Most of the evening entertainment is actually limited to the hotels. There are a few shops in the area to interest you, where you will find things such as jewellery, clothing or souvenirs. There are also plenty of supermarkets for those of you that go self-catering. Public transport is fairly good with buses taking you into Ciudadela. From there, you can then get a bus to other resorts.



Cala'n Bosch - Typically Mediterranean Climate

Cala\'n Bosch is blessed with long, warm summers, clear blue skies and hours of sunshine. Winter in Cala\'n Bosch is still good as it remains fairly mild. Although there is rain in the winter, it is light and moderate. There are cool breezes that sweep across the resort maintaining temperatures and making it a lot cooler for you. Summer sees temperatures reaching 30°C with 11 hours of sunshine a day. Temperatures have also been known to reach 35°C, especially during August. Very little rain falls between July and September making it a very popular summer destination. During the winter, you may only see 5 hours of sunshine and temperatures will drop to 14°C. This is between December and January, however in March, temperatures start to rise again, reaching 18°C. It is very rare that it will rain for a whole day in Cala\'n Bosch. When it does rain, it usually clears up very quickly.
