Pollensa is known to be one of the most beautiful resorts on the island of Majorca. It appeals to the more mature visitor mainly although people of all ages have enjoyed the resort. Pollensa does not have its own beach, but there is a beach nearby at Puerto de Pollensa. There are a few hotels within the resort, however most of the accommodation is made up of villas.

The resort has a very relaxed nightlife, with people mainly going out to eat and then go back to hotels. You may find a few of the hotels putting on evening entertainment for their guests. Public transport takes you into Puerto Pollensa and Palma so you can shop and experience a more lively area.
Pollensa - Perfect Weather For Sight-seeing
Pollensa is a resort that has good weather for most of the year. The winters remain mild, and the summer temperatures rarely fall below 25C. The water temperature in the summer is around 26C making it perfect for those of you wanting to go for a swim, and even in the winter, water temperatures still remain fairly high. July and August offer the best weather, but the whole summer season is from April until November. October however does bring the most rain to the resort, closely followed by November and December.
