San Juan Information

San Juan - Part Of A Scenic Wooded Valley

San Juan is a very small and unpopulated resort. Located on the north east of the island, it is amongst a wooded valley and mountains. At both sunrise and sunset, the resort looks very attractive with the cloudless blue skies glistening. The mountains near San Juan cover the entire north of the island and the coastline is made up of cliffs.

San Juan - Attractive Setting Amongst The Valley

San Juan is a very attractive little village resort that appeals to older couples and families. There is little to do in San Juan other than go sight seeing. Many of the activities are located in the other resorts such as nearby Portinatx, where you can take part in various water sports, experience nigh life and even try horse-riding. The water park in Playa den Bossa is also worth a day trip. There is a fiesta on the 24th June that you can see where there are fireworks displays that will light up the night time skies.

San Juan - Outstanding, Picturesque Views

Although there may not be much to do in San Juan, there are still restaurants to go and visit where you can have a quiet meal whilst watching the sunset. There are buses that take you to different resorts on the island and these run daily. The main resort that they will take you into is San Antonio where you can experience shopping, nightlife and various other restaurants. There are banks open 9am until 2pm, Monday to Friday so you can change up your money if you need to. There are chemists located in the resort and these are easily recognisable.

San Juan - Clear Blue Skies And Sunshine All Day Long

San Juan is just like many other resorts and has sunshine for 12 hours a day during July and August. Later on in the year, there are less hours of sunshine, however it is still very warm when the sun does shine. There are clear sunrises and sunsets during the summer, however in the winter it can get colder which is why it is advised that you wear warmer clothing in the evenings.
