It has been advised this week that all people who are spontaneous travellers should take out an annual insurance policy to ensure that they are always covered when they are abroad.

ABTA has claimed that those of you that go away more than twice a year would benefit from the annual policy and would probably end up saving money. You would also be benefitting from the added security.

It is now possible to find cheap flights and holidays quickly meaning more and more people are forgetting to take out travel insurance. With an annual policy, all you would have to worry about would be renewing it once a year.

Insurance is at a cheap level currently due to the market being so competitive, so it is the perfect time to buy.

People who go on short breaks very often forget to take out travel insurance which means they are not covered for any eventuality.
